e-Junior Maker Club (JMC) is an modified version of Young Maker Club (YMC) to cater for younger students. Similar to YMC, JMC is a STEM (science, technology, engineering & mathematics) class designed to give students a hands-on learning experience that develop student interest, knowledge and skills in:
Class Delivery Method
Accessible online materials consisting of pre-recoded tutorial videos, worksheets and project challenges for every lesson. Supplemental (optional) weekly real-time office hours with teacher available. Which will be held on Saturday from 3pm to 430pm
In addition to the self-learning platform, Arus Academy also offers supplementary weekly consultational office hours to provide additional help for students through live-video call as well as instant Whatsapp technical support. All these novel learning experiences serve to spark students’ interest in the STEM fields to embark on a self-exploring learning journey that enables them to discover their fullest potentials to be the problem solvers of tomorrow.
Through the interactive and engaging learning materials that are specially crafted for kids, Arus Academy offers a hands-on experiential self-learning journey for young students to explore the world of programming and basic project making with the customized JMC learning kits.

After 3-months of intensive learning, JMC students will need to apply the coding knowledge and project making skills to build physical project prototypes that help to solve real world problems. This allows students to see the relevance of their learning and take a step further to deepen their knowledge in the STEM fields. At the end of the programme, students will be trained to present their project inventions in English and encouraged to participate in many other external STEM & robotics competitions.
